My approach

I believe you’re the expert on your own life. My approach is deeply relational and tailored to your individual needs.

I’ve trained in a number of models of therapy, and primarily draw upon the Conversational Model, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you:

  • Gain deeper self-understanding

  • Heal from past hurts and trauma

  • Improve your relationships

  • Develop greater emotional resilience

  • Live more in alignment with your values

I currently provide therapy to adult individuals online as well as in person at the Braemar Office Network, Level 3, 32 The Terrace, Wellington 6011.

  • My work typically involves longer-term therapy, so during our first three sessions we’ll explore whether we’re the right fit. I also offer shorter-term support for clients navigating especially challenging circumstances. My approach is deeply relational, tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. It’s informed by advanced training and experience in:

    • Restorative Practices, a framework that supports healing, accountability, and reconnection.

    • Psychodynamic-Interpersonal Therapy (PIT, also known as The Conversational Model), a research-backed approach that helps people process emotions, heal relational patterns, and develop self-understanding.

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which supports psychological flexibility and values-based action.

    • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which strengthens emotional resilience and relational awareness.

    • Trauma Theory & Transformative Coaching, which help make sense of past experiences and build a foundation for growth.

    Together, we work to understand what’s holding you back, explore new ways of being, and create a path that feels more aligned with who you are and what you need.

  • I work with adults from all walks of life, couples, friends, teams, and adult family members. I do not currently work with children or youth.

    I have specialised experience supporting the unique experiences and communities of:

    • Senior leaders and public figures

    • Musicians and professionals in the music industry

    • Start-up founders and entrepreneurs

    • First responders

    • Individuals who have experienced medical harm or injury

    • Those navigating public shaming or online abuse

  • My current rate is $170 (incl.gst) per 50 minute session. I see most clients weekly at the same time every week.
